Prior to forming Stonemoss Hospitality Asset Management in 2024, Allan was Chief Operating Officer with the Bricks Group. He joined the Bricks Capital team in January 2018, and in his role as Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Bricks Capital was responsible for operational strategy and profitability within the hotel & student accommodation portfolio. This included the significant development of the commercial aspects of Food and Beverage & Gym revenues within both the Hotels and Student portfolio. His approach steps away from the normal bland experience in hotels and focuses on a more retail-led delivery culture.    

Before joining Bricks Capital, he had a successful and varied career within the hospitality industry. He is respected throughout the industry as a robust business manager and has been the operational lead in several high-profile investment hospitality projects:

Formerly Co-Head of the Colliers International Hospitality Asset Management Team, Allan is an experienced multi-disciplined Hospitality operator and is proficient in hospitality investment. With a career in the sector spanning 36 years, he successfully managed some of the UK’s largest hotels within the Ramada Jarvis Group portfolio.

Allan led the design, scoping, cost control, and implementation of a £100m CapEx spend on the UK Marriott portfolio, and his international experience includes Asset Management for hospitality businesses in Holland, Spain, Norway, Croatia, and Germany. Allan and his team drove performance through all aspects of the businesses in both Student, Hotels, Food and Beverage and Gyms within the Group.
